paper plates -- feeeeel the guilt!

Just saw a Dixie paper plate commercial, and the *angle* of the ad was: Use paper plates, spend more time with your family. That sounds a little desperate for me, so I wonder if the latest eco trend has been strong enough to show a decline in paper plate sales. I see nothing on their web site about using recycled materials, or biodegradable ones.
