I saw this dohicky at the grocery store and decided to try it. The risk with such thing is: If it works, save money and enviro; if it doesn't, waste money and hurt enviro.
Thankfully it worked! When my last Pam spray ran out I took out this puppy and half filled it with canola oil, then primed the pump as per instructions. And voila! Works great.
